The
people of God are a people of faith and power. Life however is
oft times filled with various events, circumstances and issues that sometimes overwhelm us. During those times we need to speak with someone who can walk with and guide us in the way of Biblical truths, spiritual health and emotional wholeness which is available through the life of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The goal of the Counseling Ministry is to utilize Biblical and Christian counseling practices to help others in restoring healthy relationships between the individual and God, self, and community. The LOJ Counseling Ministry is comprised of Certified Christian Counselors under the leadership of Pastor Gibson. In addition to the Pastor, the Counseling Ministry is under the umbrella and guidance of a licensed psychologist who is further available for referrals and extensive counseling when necessary. Further, the Counseling Ministry utilizes a database of psychologists, psychiatrists and various agency and social service organizations when appropriate. All services are provided in accordance with confidentiality and proprietary practices of Counselors and therapists. Areas
